What is P1, P2, and P3?

P1 - The first basic class P1, is an introductory course to the sport and its equipment. In this course, our instructor will educate you about paragliding equipment, its parts, how to use it, equipment Maintenance, and the basics of meteorology.


The majority of the course is devoted to ground-handling instruction. You will learn how to forward launch, keep your glider over your head, and control your glider on the ground.


All of these techniques will be learned on the ground under the instruction of a trainer,

P2 - After you complete the P1 course you are ready for the next step. Now you are able to take off from the world 2nd highest paragliding site. P2 is a basic introduction to paragliding flight, In this course, you will learn the following skills -

  1. How to take off from a slope or hill.

  2. How to use your body weight and suspension lines to change direction while flying.

  3. How to direct a safe and direct glide to the landing.

  4. How to prepare for a safe landing.

  5. How to identify safe flying weather.

  6. Take-off and landing safety rules and regulations.

All of these skills you will learn under the radio instruction and supervision of our professional instructor.

P3 - After completing P1, and P2 courses, and learning the basic fundamental of paragliding now you are ready for the P3 course. P3 is a vital stage in your paragliding career since it will provide you with some of the important knowledge and abilities you need to become a safe club pilot and it's the first step towards becoming an independent paragliding pilot. In this course, you will learn the following skills -

  1. Reverse launch tactics in different wind conditions.

  2. Soaring and Thermalling (basic method of soaring and height gaining)

  3. Basic height descending maneuver.

  4. Safe and Target landing approach.

  5. Air traffic and safety rules for paragliding.

  6. Advanced knowledge of meteorology.

All of these flying abilities will be taught to you over the radio and under the supervision of our master instructor. During the flight, you will be guided by the instructor from take-off to landing.

  • Begin walking or jogging for 2-3 km while carrying some weight on your back. The first 4-5 days of the ground training are the most physically challenging; you must run while hauling the glider on your back.

  • The usual duration of the P1, P2, and P3 courses is 15-20 days, depending on weather circumstances. The number of days is determined by a variety of circumstances, including weather, students' flying abilities, physical conditions,

3. What to bring for the paragliding course?

  • Comfortable warm clothes according to the weather.

  • Windcheater jackets for flying.

  • Long comfortable trousers.
